Reflection of class on Jan. 31st
To be honest, I’ll still feel confused about poster and flyer if you didn’t show different trifolds to us and explain difference between poster, flyer and trifold specifically.
As a reflection, now I understand why you said that the flayer I post in my blogger before was not a good one to illustrate the implementation of images, because there was not enough contact information and necessary introducing about the gear on that flyer.
In chapters I read today, the author introduced relative theories and several effective ways to achieve the hierarchy and unity of design separately. But I think he can arrange the hierarchy and unity of design together to illustrate the best way to integrate them.  In my opinion, hierarchy and unity are closed topics of a design because it’s difficult for designers to find the balance between them in designing.
For example, if I choose different colors, shapes and typefaces to highlight different segments of a slide in a particular sequence, usually the slide would be a little clutter. And if I choose same or similar features to make the slide look like a unity, it would be difficult for me to stand out something clearly.
Well, I think I can get some ideas about the balance between hierarchy and unity from the process of creating brochure project.
